Some really good answers here on this one thanks. I was amused by some that accused me of "entrapment" but have you looked around lately, there is a lot of questions that are designed to do just that! Oh well!
I ask you, (and be truthfull) Is my statement true or false? Mostly true, just look at the responces.
....now get off my leg! uhgg!

All too often.
It seems many of these self-proclaimed "Christians" are too blind to their own flawed ideology that rather than discussing the question at hand or criticizing the opposing viewpoint, they simply resort to outright bashing and condemnation of the non-believer. It's also worth noting that a lot of these fervent believers are too hell-bent (pun intended) to vigorously defend their religion rather than their faith. (This is especially true within Catholicism.) In other words, instead of actually reasonably justifying their belief system and its overall relevance to themselves and society as a whole, they will blindly support and eat up anything that their religious leaders will preach to them, ignorant of any apparent danger that may arise from such unfounded propaganda. Their concept of "love" is quite disturbing, indeed.

What is interesting is the True Christian poem got removed
and not this post. Though I know some nice Atheists at
my job, there are more Atheists who attack than Christians
on Yahoo.
That one guy told the lady who posted the poem to
Get A Life. Maybe you should as well. There's a way of
saying things and a way of not saying things. You are
trying to rile us and people who do that to others must
not have better things to do.
So Long.

As an atheist, Ive found that that is rarely the case.
Most respond to your attitude, I rarely have a problem with Christians but am an open atheist who has no problem pointing out the issues in their religion. I guess the difference is that I have enough respect for other people not to ask a question that is designed to get a rise out of people.

Rabid dog?! I'll show you rabid dog, you rabid racoon!
J/k to the above! ;)
I'm a Christian, and if someone's doing that (personally attacking people, and things of that nature), they're not representing Jesus, and they certainly don't reflect my views. But I am certainly not perfect like Jesus. I'm sure, at one point or another, I'll post a message that someone construes as an attack.

I could switch the words christian and atheist and the question wouldnt be any less valid.
There are obnoxious people on all sides.
People like you that ask questions to purposelly bash on a whole other group of people just to justify your own hatred are just as responsible and just as guilty of what you are accusing all christians of doing.
Just because you believe something doesnt mean its true, btw.

Christian means to be Christ like. We have to follow in his footsteps. One way we do this is through our preaching activity. (Acts10:42) His disciples our known by the love they have amongs each other, Can you think of a religion that does not go to war and fight against another fellow believer?

Your comments at the instant are not basically impolite, they are nonsense. Calling any man or woman a "canine" is insulting, it is the impolite area. in case you left it at that - you may desire to get reported yet a minimum of it could make sense. Even asserting we are canines that are too unwell to do something yet cover and growl, could artwork. that's nevertheless impolite and insulting and you may desire to get reported yet that too remains a rational assertion. it is once you are trying to signify that rabid canines could hunt sheep? it is the place this merely is going off to wtf?-land...
