Do you think San Francisco might get the BIG EARTHQUAKE SOON?
GOD will not be mocked.
Conservative activists devoted to countering the homosexual agenda say it's a sad state for America when a major U.S. city bans the U.S. Marines from filming a recruiting commercial, but is permitting absolute debauchery to take place this weekend.
"They can't make room for the Marines to film in the city -- and yet they can manage to clear off several city blocks for a street fair that celebrates the most heinous perversions known to man," says an exasperated LaBarbera. "It's incredible the priorities of politically correct San Francisco-http://www.onenewsnow.com/2007/09/san_francisco_says_no_to_marin.php

God will deal with San Fran as well as the USA. Since the 60's, wholesomness is out and debauchery has infiltrated every aspect of American's lives. The Homosexual movement, although they claim that they are still going to go to heavean, has constantly thrown their ways in the face of followers of Christ. The US government including the courts, instead of standing up for the Word of God, have run the other direction. They have forsaken God and taken Christ out of most of society. They have even told Israel to give back the land God gave them. The USA is no where mentioned in Scripture, so its destruction is guarenteed. The only questions will be when, how, and by whom or what?

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." (Galatians 4"7)

"Behold I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according to his work." (Revelation 22:12)

In the end, God is not mocked. If a person mocks God in this life, then in the end, God has the final say. How sad it will be when that person hears the words, "Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the Devil and his angels." (Matthew 25:41)

But be not discouraged C&C. Read what Paul wrote. "Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; and to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day." (2 Thessalonians 1:6-10)

That article is hilarious. You do realize LaBarbera is the spokesman for Americans for Truth About Homosexuality? This is a group that has jumped on the bandwagon boycotting Miller beer for their sponsorship of a community event. Read what this guy says. It's pure vitriol.

That harpy goes on to say,"...the Marines, the symbol of all that is good in America..." are being held at bay while a homosexual community hosts an annual parade containing homosexuals. Why is a religious person so pro-military?

The article also quotes the policy director for Concerned Women for America, Matt Barber. (A woman named Matt?) This is the group whose goal it is to, "bring Biblical principles into all levels of public policy." In other words, they want the US to be a theocracy.

So religious fundamentalists don't like homosexuals? This isn't news. Does anyone know the other side of the story? Why would the Marines want to film on a street during rush hour? They eventually filmed elsewhere in the city, so they weren't denied a permit, they were just denied a permit to film on the street.

i don't be attentive to if it is a hundred% criminal (i think that the way it works in SF is that if a citizen isn't keen to make a written criticism to the police on the subject of the standard public nudity that they witness, the police can not/won't do something yet provide a warning to the offending guy or woman), somewhat. That suggested, I likely might walk around nude. it is the organic, wide-spread thank you to be (delicate and clever, too)/not something is intrinsically obscene on the subject of the human physique. And, specific, the towel element/protecting chairs is basically solid sense.

I agree C&C.
Although I have got NOTHING against gays, I think it is disturbing that they would shut out the United States Marine Corps. from shooting their film within the city. If it where not for the brave men and women of the Marine Corps. gays, straights and bi people all across our nation would not have the freedom to choose which lifestyle to choose as their own.

I do not find anything wrong with the gay parade, but I find everything in the world wrong with San Fran's treatment of our nations hero's.

I won't even touch the religious apsect of this argument. To each their own. In the end all things will be revealed.

A military RECRUITING video (military advertisement) is very different than a public social event.

Did New Orleans (a VERY religious city that happens to be located in an area that is prone to hurricanes) deserve to be destroyed while San Francisco was not? Maybe it was the weather that did it and not god.

ADD: According to the OT Sodom was destroyed because they mistreated orphans, widows, and strangers, NOT because it might have had a few people with some questionable sexual practices. In several places in the Bible it very clearly explains that.
The association with sexual practices started much more recently during a prudish period of history.

um....an earthquake in a city on a fault line

why doesn't god cause a big a$$ earthquake somewhere which doesn't normally have one

I mean if you're going to murder people to send a message - at least make it clear it's a message

Besides which I would imagine the fair had it's permits in a long long while ago and the marines didn't

However shame on you for being such a hater.

God will not be mocked?!

"HEY! GOD! IT'S ME...BRUCE! I THINK YOU ARE UGLY, STUPID, AND YOUR BREATH STINKS! STOP KILLING PEOPLE FOR NO REASON, YOU BIG MORON!!"

There ya go. And as for the ad...if you think killing a whole city over a poster is a good thing...then you have your priorities all out of whack. Stop taking everything so literally. Jesus never condemned homosexuals. The Catholic church did.

Hmm, I would say it's a lot more evil to call down wrath upon an entire city of people, just because one is an ignorant bigot.

Working for equal rights for all is in no way "mocking God," but actually is exactly following the teachings of Jesus.

One could speculate on the number of thumbs down I will get from piety-mouthing hypocrites.

You seem like such a boring person, to waste our time with such whining. However, keep it up. You do have a little sense of humor.

There's nothing wrong with San Francisco. The residents there are simply more outgoing than the closeted individuals in up-tight San Diego.
