Jesus came, died, and rose again from the dead so that I could share eternal life with Him. The Church taught me that from the beginning, but when I got old enough to question stuff, I went exploring different spiritualities. I found that the Catholic Church had the fullness of truth just like they told me it did, and I've been there ever since. The end.

10 years ago, at the age of 46, I read the bible for the first time. When I read the 4 Gospels, I was amazed at the Words, it was if I had known the Words all of my life. The Words Jesus spoke was exactly how I had felt, about the world. I believe in the Words before I believe in Jesus.

In the last 10 years, I have come to understand all of the Words Jesus spoke. I have come to understand who I am, and where I came from. I understand who Jesus was and why I was born into the world, but most important I know the way back home, to the "Promised Land"

I grew up in a christian home and school. A couple years ago I was finally able to break free from childhood indoctrination and evaluate religion as an Adult. Now i'm an atheist and couldn't be happier. It feels like I came out of a cult.
It saddens me to know that so many people still waste what little time they have in life not LIVING.

that I've often wrestled with God not realizing how good hes been too me.

Now that I've taken a step back I'm appreciating him a whole lot more and i'm more confident about my salvation(i used to wonder if i was really saved).

My only goal/plan for the rest of the year or better yet the rest of my life is to move into a more intimate relationship with him the kind of relationship that Paul shared with him.

Well, Lady Hype, most of your answers so far are very sad and almost shocking. To all of you who are not believers, you do not know what you are missing. A life with Christ is the most rewarding life of all. You will be a slave to Jesus or the Devil -- you chose. But you must serve only one master. I CHOOSE CHRIST!

Oh my.....

I don't think I have room for this here.....but I'll try:

Here's the seriously condensed version

In a nut shell, I got saved through the ministry of the 700 Club one night 7 years ago......while watching TV.

God opened my eyes to the truth.....and it's been great ever since.
