I have a Siamese tomcat who is in denial. He was neutered (as an adult) but thinks he's still a stud cat. (Luckily he only pretends to spray--he shakes his tail at the door! LOL!) He tries to mate with females, has had a love affair with a blanket, & I have even woke up a few times and this sex maniac of a cat was sort of stomping in place on me, purring, with a major erection! At least he didn't bite my neck! But, not caring to participate, I put him on the floor. DH was freaked ( think he's jealous! LOL) but he said "At least he's not gay!"
I was at first surprised a neutered cat could get it up but people told me that is not so rare, but that they cant ejaculate. BUT one AM, vaguely half asleep, I noticed the cat stomping at the foot of the bed. Then when we awoke, there was clear liquid there on the blanket with an odd unfamiliar smell. I can't think of anything it could BE but cat semen Is that possible? He has balls that deflated after his op.Can neuters shoot blanks?

The fluid you saw/smelled is not semen.. But rather a sugary, clear substance that is released along the path the sperm would take to reach the penis. It is naturally used to provide nourishment to the sperm before leaving the male's body and entering the female. It is not to be confused with semen since Semen is what is ejaculated as a mixture of sperm and the nourishing fluid, while what your cat has done was stimulate his body into an orgasm, which released this fluid you saw.

I spose it can happen. Not all the fluid in an ejaculate comes from the testes. Some comes from other glands along the way. The neuter only removes the testicles.
I have seen many neutered males that "mate" with blankets and things.

Yes they can. The neutering doesn't stop the fluid the sperm is in, it just eliminates the organs (testes) that produces the sperm. So yes, there can be some stuff coming out, but it won't have sperm in it.

Ive had dogs do it but never actually seen a cat do it. Im sure its possible.
