While Ivory soap contains anti bacterial ingredients, it also contains substances which kills the bacteria but . will also make your skin dry because it takes away your body's natural oils which lubricate the skin .

some soaps may have ingredients that can make the skin dry for it is not suitable to your skin type. you can always put on an all natural lotion or moisturizer after bath to keep the skin moisturized. since it has living nutrients to feed the skin, it has no side effects and can make the skin clean, soft and supple. try to drink a lot of water to keep the skin hydrated to avoid drying and flaking. for more tips on how to take care of skin visit http://www.skinsosilky.com

Liquid bath soap is the best one. Buy the one that has moisturizer in it. I've been using a liquid soap for a long time now and I have a very nice skin texture.

mostly the PH factor is too high and your water may be too hard also. Soaps that are slightly acidic keep your skin less dry. Skin has a 4.5 to 5.5 PH. Most soaps are 7.0 and above.

because many soaps have a cleaning substance called clorooxyipostrin (i think i spelled it wrong). it's a substance thats used in many soaps, face cleansers and shampoos. clorooxy is used to remove excess dirt, dead skin cells and especially grease from the skin, so if u use to much soap, it can dry ur hands because the excess amount of clorooxy removes too much natural grease leaving your hands chapped and dry.

Wow, most guys dont care about soap, and use only bars of soap. Well, I only use hand soap out of a bottle. bars of soap give your hands and body that "squeaky clean" feeling that drives me crazy!!! I dont know the real reason, but what I do know is that i dont like to use them.
