People gossip for anything. sometimes it's them not minding their buisness or it's jealousy. If you are to listen to what others say, you will end up on the wrong road because they are just playing with your head. The best way to know the truth is to ask the person yourself and follow your heart. You heart will always tell you what is right or wrong.

Please listen to both, people see what you dont see so be careful. but follow your heart, and if it gets to the point where you cant take it anymore, try to figure out what it is that these people are talking about. Yes i am telling you to play private investigator. if you really want to save yourself some drama later. Ask people to take pictures or record him in action or if they see him somewhere give you a call so you can see it too. The truth will set you free my dear, but I have learned my lesson about not listening to friends. So now i do both.

It depends. If they are people who know first hand what he is capable of doing, please listen. He may be abusive. Verbal abuse is just as bad as physical abuse. He may be very controlling, and the people giving the advice know it, and know that you will lose yourself being with him. He may be a
pedaphile or worse. Use your head first, and if all is good, then only then give him your heart.

Depends on what the gossip says and what you know. It they say he's a lying scumbag, and you know he is, then do you want to date a lying scumbag? If that's your idea of fun, go for it. Otherwise, re-think and find someone who is a good person.
