You get to go home and not be in the military. They wont let you be in basic training while you are pregnant.

While you are obligated if you agreed to and signed a contract and were sworn-in... if you haven't been to training - just call the recruiter and tell them the situation and that you (or whoever) aren't going in now - not a fun conversation and the recruiter will give you hell probably. But if you are a man (or woman) about it - don't worry: MPs are not going to show up at anyone's house and drag anyone off.
Don't ignore it and hope they void the obligation - because there will be a paper trail that will catch up to you someday. Just give the recruiter a call. The fact that someone is pregnant will prevent them from going to BCT anyway.

all females are given a pregnancy test when they report to Basic. if they pop positive, they are discharged immediately. or rather, not allowed to continue with the process.
once past that(like your other question pertaining to AIT)..you can be busted for violation of orders for having sex while in Basic training. you can get into a LOT of trouble.. My husband got in to a lot of trouble for sitting down and talking to a fellow recruit when she was having a bad day. Sex will net you serious repercussions.
if however, you have completed all training and become pregant, if you are single you are given the option to separate(before the child is born, so no trying to have the birth covered than bailing). if you are married to a civilian, it is assumed that they will be the primary caregiver and not allowed to separate. if dual military, again, you get the option, although if you do decide to get out, the birth is covered since you would then be eligible for Tricare on your own merits as a spouse. .

Everyone that I know that has gotten pregnant in the military has had the option of voiding their contract and getting out. I do not know if this would also apply to those who have not yet gone to Basic Training, but I am sure that it is not advisable to go to Basic Training when you are pregnant.
