I drink Yoplait smoothies all the time, but I was jut reading this story from my home page saying that a lot of drinks that seem healthy are actually pretty fattening. don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those annoying skinny chicks that's constantly thinking she's fat or anything, lol, but the article just made me wonder.
Thanks!!

Look at the nutrition label on the bottle. Does it contain a lot of calories? Does it contain a lot of fat? Does it contain high fructose corn syrup?

High fructose corn syrup = BAD!

The ingredients on the label are, by law, in order of their % of the whole product vs the rest of the ingredients in the product. If High fructose corn syrup is number one - then your drinking mostly highly concentrated sugar. Sugar = carbs = cottege cheese thighs.

Hi Jess

I sometimes wonder that myself. When I think of dairy products, I think of how fattening they can be, because they have milk in it (unless you have a dairy product with soy bean instead of milk). Yet, smoothie drinks like Yoplait, have live and active cultures, such as yogurt, which is good for you.

But, if you were to drink say three or more a day, than yes, they could be very fattening, because you'll be bypassing your "daily calorie intake".

Hope I was informative. Take care.

there's sugar and artificial flavoring in it, but not enough to really make u fat unless u drink like 10 of them in 5 minutes. but there's also a bunch of good stuff in it too that can help you not get sick and stuff, anyway, they're not really fattening unless you drink alot of them in a day.

They are pretty high in sugar... but the yogurt itself if good for you.... You may want to cut down a little. Or drink those DanActive thingies.

read labels. If you see sugar or other stuff you can't even pronounce then leave it on the shelf and grab a bag of fruit or a bunch of bananas...
