yes,the truth must prevail or" forever hold your peace" as they
say.I guess truth really corresponds to peace. As for as long as
somebody keeps a secret,he/she would never be at peace with
himself/herself.

There are some things that are clearly true, and there is no need to prove them, they are established fact. The Bible's truth, for example, has been proven time and again through science, and historical account.

hopfully you will research something and get enough evidence about something before believing it is real. otherwise you could believe something that aint true and be harmed.

I remember my sister saying (I don't; remember it) that the preacher said to me, if I have enough faith I can stab myself with a knife and not bleed.

now is that true? how do I know it is not? well I cut myself many times accidentally(and I have faith in What God tells me) and I still bled. when I was little about the same time I was stabbed by a boy up the street, he was mean, adn I bled, for sure. that sure put the preacher in his place. evidence proved to me if you get stabbed deep enough you bleed I do'n't care how much you believe you wont'. you can't change laws of the physical world by simply believing it differently.

what if I believed I would not die or get hurt or fall if I jumped off a cliff? can that change the physical laws if I just believe it jump off a cliff and will I just hang there? no of course not.

RRRRR

only when questioned. when questioned a truthful answer should be provided in response, do you not think so?

nobody wants to be lied too, imagine if you were a kid and you asked your father, why is this this way? and he said, because thats the way it is, thats all you will ever know of it.
uh, that would leave some lingering questions, dont you think?
some people strive to know and fully understand where others are fine with agreeing and believing all that they are told.

If you can understand how truth has been defined through the ages then you will also understand the need for a proof or not:

Abstaract truths need proof without exception.Concree one need proof under certain circumstances.
I fyu say that somethging invisible exist , yu have to prove it .If yu saytha tyousaw some one is capableof eating glass pieces , you have to produce proof ..If you say that the sun rises in the morning , you do t have to produce any proof as the oine who wats o verify it can do it himself .

no, but it should be determined... you can't claim something is truth just because it fits with what you believe. truth is an end result not a starting assumption.
