It sounds like your Mom was trying to be open and honest and establish communication between you two. Ask her what you feel comfortable about asking her. Also you may want to do some research on line or at the library if you are too embarrassed to ask her.

You must be a smart kid because you feel the need to question these things. The "average joe" wouldn't take such an active concern with how they are developing. If you really want to ask such questions seek a professional. Your mom can only give you so many answers and then her knowledge is spent.

If you want to learn more about development in puberty, you can talk to your doctor, or do a yahoo search for MALE DEVELOPMENT IN PUBERTY, or similar searches.. lots of helpful info on the net.

start by asking her a question related and see how she responds, i'm sure she will be fine about it but if you dont feel comfortable then ask away on here, most people on here give great advice and are here to listen, so you will get lots of help xx good luck with your mum. x

Yes, go ahead and ask her. She's your mom... She has seen it all before sweetie. She talked to you about the stuff she did because she wants you to know that she is there for you and wll answer any questions you have.

if u feel comfortable with her just ask her everything u are worried about....i know it might be embarassing to u but your mom will appreciate tat u feel comfortable coming to her about things no matter how uncomfortable it might make u feel
