Hello! I was told that I need a root canal but I cant afford it so I decided to just get the tooth pulled out. It is the 2nd to last tooth on the bottom. Does anybody know if the other bottom teeth will go out of place and shift? Giving me crooked teeth
? I paid a lot for braces so i really dont want my teeth to go back to the way they were...HEEEELP

yup in time they can! the top tooth - if t has nothing to hit upon can continue to grow downward too. you might want to get a bite gaurd for the night time - just to play it safe but.... i was missing one for 2.5-3 years - possibly same position if it was on the right hand side and my teeth were shifting - i could tell by the space between the contacts. i ccouldn't afford the implant at the time and the two teeth on either side needed crowns (well one would have eventually) so i did a two crown bridge. i was lucky as the top tooth still rested partially on the remaining back tooth and i had the bite guard for night time (for a different reason)
start saving up!

Well,i've had many teeth removed due to getting constant absesses in the roots (it was easier just to get the teeth removed than suffer that pain on a monthly basis!) and my other teeth haven't moved.
On the bottom,i've had 2 from the back (next to each other),left hand side removed, and one at the back on the right hand side.
And at the top,i've had 2 removed from the back, right hand side.
The rest of my teeth are perfectly straight! People always ask me if i've ever had braces to get them like that, but i've not, they're naturally like that.

I had 2 awareness tooth pulled at as quickly as and that i waited 10 days formerly eating out of a straw, yet some human beings pronounced i replaced into being slightly over careful. Dry socket is heavily painful. you will know in approximately 6-12 greater hours if it dislodged too early. good success!!

I'm not a dentist...but...I've had teeth removed from the bottom...left and right...and it had no negative effects whatsoever on the remaining teeth. And that's years ago! But of course...check with your dentist.

did you already have it extracted? i would just do the root canal. i got mine pulled too and i regret it. it will shift your teeth unless you get a bridge or implant which is thousands of dollars.

sorry to say, yes, your teeth will lose their alignment if you pull one and have no spacer there.
