If you believe in God, you realize that time in inconsquential to Him. What is a million years to us is a few minutes to Him.

Remember, too, that if you take a literal interpretation of the Bible, the earth is only about 6,000 years old. That doesn't give much time for a flood, dinosaurs, an ice age, etc.

Just believe.

Paul replaced into no longer between the authors of the recent testomony. His works contain his letters and he's definitely one in all the main matters of the Acts of the Apostles. Paul who as quickly as persecuted Christians, curiously had a siezure on an identical time as on a thank you to Damascus to do greater of an identical. He attributed the seizure to Jesuss, asserting that he had a innovative and prescient of Jesus in the process that experience and switched over. He frequently disagreed with the unique followers and the apostles of Jesus. He went his very own way, preaching and writting until he replaced into beheaded in Rome. HIs works are the main infulential writings and teachings of each and every of the founders of Christianity, even even with the undeniable fact that he contradicts the training of Jesus. very almost all, if no longer actually each and every of the early chruch leaders who have been in touch interior the 1st eveangelical flow that later grew to become everyday as "Christianity' completely believed that the 2d coming of Jesus Christ replaced into due at any 2d and interior their very own existence circumstances. This replaced into according to such New testomony passages through fact the only that pronounced different first followers of Jesus does no longer flavor death formerly he back and that the apostles does no longer have long previous to all the cities of Palestine formerly the 2d coming could grow to be a certainty. Obvioulsy, who ever wrote those text fabric replaced into in errors as each and every of an identical (and then some) have long on account that died and that they have got long previous to all the cities of what replaced into then Palestine without the 2d coming having occurred. As to Paul's glaring matters with marriage and sexuality, you will basically ask your self the place such realy arose from. Your citations and observations look surprising. each and every of the three substantial monotheisitic religions have blunders of their scriptures, alongside with contradicitions, inaccuracies and "scientific teachings" that are neither scientific nor precise. despite the fact that if those religions have been given to humankind from some deity, it replaced into introduced by people beings and people make errors. some are awilling to realize an identical and settle for it and a few are not. C'est l. a. vie!

A lot of the early believers did think Christ would return soon. This was because the anticipation was that the Messiah wouldn't leave at all .. so they started to think he'll be back soon. And there was much intense persecution making them want His soon return, and making their troubles easier to bear (they didn't behave like Mohammed and kill the opposition!)

Jesus' words actually don't have to be interpretted as you suggest. That passage is very compressed, and talks of both things soon to pass and things far on - the compression presumably thought necessary because there was limited space for the message, as long scrolls were harder to copy and carry.

Its interesting that a couple of muslim converts to Christ I've read and heard of, saw visions of Christ and He said "Im coming soon". He may say this to keep people on their toes, or indeed it may be close, what with Israel being re-established, a prerequsite before the 2nd coming. From God's perspective, of course, 1000 years is like a day.

When you read the answer from brainwashedand braindead people like goodfella who, as usual for this people, don't answer to your question but tell you slogan that have nothing to do with your question, then you know why.

The bible is the biggest book of lies that exist on earth.
It have of course some historical trues in it, but all the wonders .... come on, don't joke me.
It was written from people who had less knowledgement about anything as every 12 year old schoolkid nowadays. This 12 year old schoolkid would stand behind this writers and would laugh every 20 seconds what b/s this people are writing. Whatever they could not explain was a wonder. For them was the earth round and they did know nearly nothing.

If I say today that I saw an pink elephant flying in the air then they call me crazy, if I say I believe that a human rised to heaven (To where exactly? What happened when Jesus passed the atmosphaere?) then he is a good believer. What a joke!

I won't be quick enough for some. ;0)

John 21:22 "Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?" is referring to John the Beloved, who is still alive on the earth today.

None of the verses in the Bible give the exact time. The bible says Only God the Father knows the day and time of the end. Read the Bible! AV KJV 1611 is the best version to use today.

The Bible is not wrong about Jesus Return, believers must first be caught up in the clouds-the rapture of the church, which cannot happen until the Anti-Christ shows himself. When Jesus returns in the clouds with great glory it is judgement time.

yes you quoted correctly. these things are happening.
some of these prophecies have come to pass. some
could only happen now. if YESHUA said HE was coming
so HE shall. YESHUA will show up when the ADONAI
tells HIM. so be prepared as YESHUA could show up
at any time. whether in the next minute or years from
now. we are just told to be ready.

read the rest of Luke 9:28. the disciples did see this
happen.

Let's see:
You can forget about the passages in Revelations, because those are what are called PROPHECIES, which haven't been fulfilled yet.

As far as the rest go, reread them. Jesus was not saying that they would still be alive when He returned. He was saying that some would SEE Him return. One did. John.

Bible is pretty clear no one knows when it will occur. Indeed, Paul specifically stated that it wouldnt occur until after an Apostasy.

You have to understand that a long time for man is a very short time for God.
