Yes, you are right.

Everything, including life and death and reproduction and thought and love and etc. is pointless.

Real meaning comes from living for a real purpose and real purpose requires God.

If we reject God, then we have to change the word "meaning" to refer to "things to do that make us feel good" instead of "purpose". We have to live to do things that make us feel good and then deceive ourselves into thinking that those "feel-goodisms" amount to reasons for living that are worthy of our lives. Does gathering good feelings give real meaning to our lives? Phrased that way, most people would say no, hence the need for self deception.

Nope.

There doesn't have to be a uniform meaning to life for philosophy to be valid. Philosophies are generally a perspective on the meaning people give their own lives. (Or lack of meaning, as the case may be.) No original intention, only what meaning is given by human thought and practice, on an individual basis.

But then the answer to the meaning of life would be there is no meaning. So you have a chicken or the egg debate on your hands. I think a better question would if life ends, what is the point of philosophy?

Philosophy can be defined as the search for meaning in life, so, if one's life lacks meaning, philosophy is likely to be the means of finding meaning, and is, therefore, far from pointless.

By the way, the word is "original."

All i will say is that in case you prefer a astonishing grade you will would desire to furnish an answer the instructor likes, no longer the certainty. Philosophy isn't something greater suitable than an workout in incorrect good judgment and the precepts of perplexed people.

All life has meaning . We're either born or sprout from seed , we grow up , we reproduce , we get old and die . All living things here on earth . That is what life means to the vast majority of living things .
No great ,noble , religious philosophies are necessary . Nature itself is sufficient .

You're assuming that the only way life could have meaning is through original intention.

That leaves out the possibility of a life being endowed with meaning after birth, which is a widely held philosophical position.

Why does there have to be original intention in order for life to have meaning? Life has whatever meaning we as people assign to it.

I don't know about you, but life means a lot (everything) to me!
