I have a friend who takes the bible completely literally and he explained the dinosaurs by quoting a couple bible passages that mentioned beasts. I am just curious if there are any bible passages that the Christians are prepared to point to when life on another planet is found.

Dear friend,
I don't know.God has always been and has always created. That is 1 billion years ago there was God and 1 decillion years ago there was God.No matter how big a number you come up with the answer is the same.,
There is 'overwhelming' evidence for the existance of God.
There is Overwhelming evidence for creation as well as the Flood described in the Bible.
Yes there could be populations on other planets.I believe all we see of the 'universe' with telescopes is only a very small part of it.I believe it is like standing on a large open space and seeing only as far as the Horizon and not knowing there is very much more.

The Bible does not have any passages about life in other planets.

The Bible does clearly state that God created all existings things, that includes all planets in the universe. If there is extraterrestrial life in another planet, God is their Creator.

the bible already has included extra-terrestrials.
look up Genesis 6. You'll find the sons of god marry the sons of man, clearly saying that the sons of god are NOT the sons of man, because there would be no such distinction if they were.

the bible is flawed in a million ways. it's biggest way is in the idea of god knowing all past, present, future (knowing ALL) which means all our choices are pre-determined and cannot be altered. this means no choice really exists as we just simply play out our roles assigned to us by some all-powerful entity, and no choice will get you into heaven or hell if they were known prior to your existence. it also applies to "god's plan". example, Judas Iscariot had to betray Christ for Christ to be sacrificed. Judas actually gives the world its prophecy and doesn't even know it by playing a role that was predetermined. This means it is intentional, much like adam and eve eating the fruit of knowledge of good and evil....intentional, in fact no concept of choice exists prior to this, they had to know the difference (there hardly is any difference, explained in the quote at the end of this) for them to be able to choose.

"We are oft to blame in this,-'til too much prov'd,-that with pious action and devotion's visage we do sugar o'er the devil himself" - Shakespeare, Hamlet, Act III, scene 1 (an extreme is an extreme, a fascist a fascist, and they often pose as each other in order to destroy each other).

Any aliens that you will ever see will be fallen angels, demons and what I call Satan's crowd. They have been cast down to the earth and they are among us. The second heaven has been their territory of the universe, where ever that is out in open space. The Bible says, "Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time." Notice the Bible says "sea." The Bermuda Triangle and the Devil's Triangle are two very mysterious places in our world. We have very mysterious pits in this world and Satan comes up from an abyss.

Read the Bible and it will answer a lot of your questions.

Actually the bible has alien encounters strode through out it.

Most Christians today explain them off as angles. But really what is an angle? Could it be a being that is far superior to us ?

I believe that God uses advanced races to help the less advanced ones grow up.

We would be one of the LESS advanced races.

The stuff goin' down with Ezekiel....his son gets beamed up into "heaven," he then goes to see four beings with four heads next to giant shields, sound's a bit E.T.ish to you? Does to me...also, any mention of flying chariots or wheels of fire MIGHT explain extraterrestrial activity...who knows?
