If Michael Dokes had beaten Weaver impressively in the rematch, how long would he have lasted as champ?

I think Dokes would have went on to be a good champ , if he hadn't lost to Weaver the 2nd time they fought. I think he feel into a depressed state of mikd and began the long term drug abuse, and being jailed. He really was a good boxer, I enjoyed him in the ring.
I believe he would have lasted year or two tops, seeing the life style he led, reminds me of Leon spinks a bit.. He was at the top of his game when he trained right.
