Ok well im going to a breaking benjamin concert and i want to sneak in a video camera. The video camera i have now is a Samsung SCD6040 DuoCam MiniDV Camcorder and I was wondering if it would work in a concert like if it has good video and sound quality. If not what is the best cheap one that would be good.

You are just looking to have your stuff confiscated. So I would take the cheapest unit unless You have a backstage pass.

The video quality is pretty good, about the average dv cam because the camera is about 2 years old and it doesn't have 3 ccds, but it's good for the price. The sound quality, however, isn't amazing, and it's going to be terrible at a concert because it doesn't have manual sound level controls, which means there's going to be a LOT of distortion no matter where you are. If you're far from the stage it won't be quite as bad, but then even with the zoom they're going to look far away and the image will be shaky. The good thing about the camera is that it's not that big, which means you can tape it to the inside of your leg if you know they're going to be patting you down. But in my opinion, it's just not worth it based on what I've said about the camera. So, if you can, find one you can use that has manual sound level control and set it VERY LOW.
