in fact we send ourselves to Hell by not following God/Jesus. How come God doesn't send us to Hell if He is the one who will judge our deeds, our efforts, our intentions and convict us guilt or innocent?

Mamapie2, we are not talking about speed ticket... C'mon, we are talking about spending the eternity burning in flames, screaming, desperate forever... Does anyone deserves that?

As far as I understand, people go to hell for being disobedient. What about those who believe in God, believe in Jesus, forgive enemies, do charity, love everyone, so on, BUT don't go to church... Should they go to hell?? I don't think so...

Yes, I love that argument. So little thought went into it, but it is the only one that they have.
On that basis, if I tell my kids that I am going to beat them with a baseball bat and break every bone in their body if they do not tidy their rooms:
Then when the fail to tidy the rooms to my satisfaction, well they were warned and should not complain about their beatings. Social services will just check that I warned them an then give me a friendly wave as they leave.
After all, it was my kids choice to not do what I told them.
Some people would say that this is a bad simile. And they would be right. It would be more accurate if I had asked a teacher to post a notice at their school warning them rather than telling them directly.

Because He already knows the outcome! The purpose of the Judgment is to PROVE to US why we were in the wrong for our sin/disobedience. It's not for Him to try us as if we had a chance to plead innocence or something that would allow us to make it to Heaven from that point! He's our Judge, but only for the purpose of PASSING SENTENCE, not hearing our case! We have all sorts of opportunity throughout our lifetime to "plead our case" and be saved, so if we fail to take advantage of that opportunity, we're saying to God in essence that we don't believe in Him, don't love Him, don't need Him, and are setting OURSELVES in judgment over His Word! Crazy, isn't it? The Scripture says, "As the tree falls, so shall it lie" In other words, as we are in life, so shall we face God at the Judgment. Our fates will ALREADY have been decided!

a god of love is never going to condemn anyone ever
he would be condemning his very creation .
when Jesus said follow me he meant in thought word and deed.
those who fill their lives full of anger hate and hurt will find themselves answerable when they pass from this life to the next . but not by god but by themselves and others who can clearly see who they are .
hell is a state of mind that we can find ourselves in .
it can be bad while alive on earth but a whole lot worse in the next . God set out the parameters we either follow or do not follow them . but a god of love does not condemn and punish his children . that is incorrect.

I love those bible quotes, they really slay me!
"And if anyone's name....the lake of fire."
I have the image of this god who must spend a hell of a lot of time throwing people into a "lake of fire" that it would not have enough time to preform any miracles in my mind now. Asking a christian to share information is often a waste of time, but if it is faith you are after....they have more than enough to share.
Thanks for sharing the humor, oldguy!
I chose satin too, unknownss, for my bed sheets!

Let me explain it this way: If you are driving and you decide to drive straight through a red light and a policeman stops you and gives you a ticket. You decide to fight the ticket and go before a judge. The judge decides you have to pay the ticket based on the law. Was it the judge's fault that you have to pay the ticket or is your fault for running the red light in the first place that ultimately made you responsible for paying the ticket?
God's law is like that. Just think about it.

Because our actions were the cause of the judgment. Remember, God has done EVERYTHING to provide access out of damnation. If you choose, for whatever reason, to reject the free gift, who's fault is it? If you choose to stand before God with your good works and claim that "it should be enough", know that you will be judged according to those works, and not the finished work of Christ. You will be found wanting because you cannot "buy" your way to heaven.
God does not send anyone to hell, rather, He gives you the consequences of your free will choice of rejecting the salvation of His Son.
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that ANY should perish but that ALL should come to repentance.
Listen to the passionate cry of God for you...
Isaiah 1:18
“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the LORD, “ Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool."

It is written that it is Gods will that none should perish & all would come to repentance & receive eternal life.
Our sins separate us from God & separation from God is a taste of hell. Jesus shed His blood for the remission of our sins.
So? Those who go to heaven are those whose sins are atoned for. Those who go to hell are those who are the devils messengers (false gospels, false accusers, liars, slanderers, thieves & murderers). This is a choice after rejecting Gods Love & Truth.
I believe that many go to a place of rest if they never had their sins atoned for or if they never purposely rejected God & became the devils messengers.
All children go to heaven because every child brought forth into this world has seen the True Light, so are believers through their conscience. Born a body, soul & conscience. I believe our Guardian Angels guide us through our God given conscience.
But at age of accountability, many people rebel against God & Gods Word & die/blinded spiritually or get a hardened conscience. Jesus said that to see the Kingdom of God, you must be born again. That is when we are saved. Born & whole again; body, soul & spirit. Our new born spiritman is attached to our soul & when we die, our body is burried & our soul/spirit doesn't go in the grave with our rotting body. Instead that to be absent from this body is to be present (our soul/spirit) with the Lord. Those whose sins aren't atoned for, their soul goes where the Lord puts him or her.
Also, when a persons soul goes to hell (those not redeemed) they are different places. People who have had out of body experiences (died & went somewhere) have gone to a place of outer darkness or torment, or a place of hell fire & torment. Or just a light at the end of a tunnel that got uncomfortable. So? There are different places for people to go who aren't redeemed. I believe one place is a place of rest because they did call on God, but their sins weren't atoned for. You could call that hell just because it isn't heaven. But all those not redeemed are part of the last Resurrection, the Great White Throne Judgement. The redeemed are part of the 1st Resurrection that is complete before Jesus comes to Rule & Reign in the Millinnium.

GOD give each an every one of us a free will. We can choose life (Jesus) or death (satin). By denying GOD/Jesus and listening to satin you yourself are choosing to go to hell. Everyday you live you have a chance to choose life or death in hell. Thats ture we send ourselves to hell by denying christ and giving into satin. God will judge us all accordinly to the choice WE make in life!
