What is the best Tattoo parlour or the best Tattoo artist that you've come across? What city are they in!

on the west coast my favorite artist is nikko hurtado, he is an amazing photo realism artist. he works in apple valley california.

unfortunately i am stuck in the middle of those two places... louisiana and we don't have any artists that are nearly that talented but a girl can dream huh?

The tattoo shop I go to has a table in the lobby FULL of trophies from various tattoo conventions. The artist had a portfolio readily available for me to look at, and the shop was clean. It is nice when artists do a little interior decorating, paintings, comfortable seating, etc., I like the fish tank someone else mentioned- I imagine that would be relaxing. But that stuff doesn't really matter, it's the skill that counts.... and customer service, because there are too many artists out there with bad attitudes.
