You're a good girl.

First - stay out of whatever conflict/business there may be between your mom and dad. Don't take sides. Be respectful to both of them.

You can help by making life less stressful for your Mom.
Study hard and make the very best grades you can
Be involved in your church, school activities and clubs like Scouting and 4H.
Make the kind of friends you can be proud of introducing to your family. They should be a lot like you - studious, kind hearted, happy etc. This is especially true when you start dating - make sure they're "nice" boys.
Make sure your Mom and Dad know where you're going, with whom you're going and when you expect to return.
ALWAYS call when/if your plans change. A tracfone is relatively cheap to buy- and you pay for minutes before you can use them. It's good for emergencies.
Start making life goals - where you would like to go to college, what you want to study, where you want to live etc. etc. And work towards those goals.

Truly, darling one, by staying out of your parents personal business and making sure you're responsible for your own actions - you'll be helping Mom a lot more than you can imagine.

First of all is there something wrong with your father? Is he sick or disabled? How old are you? Are you old enough to work part-time? You could always help around the house by cleaning, picking up, washing the tub and toilets. You did not say if you have siblings, but if you did you could do your homework and help them with theirs and perhaps make a simple supper there are lots of kid friendly meals at the foodnetwork.com, get them ready for bed and be really good yourself. Talk to your clergyman maybe he could provide council for you and your family or for your father, if he is up to it.

Your Mom sounds like she has it all together! Be proud of her.

Your father? Sounds like a bum... Your mother seems to be putting up with him. If she gets tired of him, she will dump him. It's not your problem, it's a private issue between your parents.

take care of YOU. hugs

Wow, you sound like a great daughter. Ask her. She can tell you what she really needs, and that way you won't be trying to help in a way that may go unnoticed. Good luck.
