One can't.
As a US citizen, the only thing my country could do is send in troops, and the rest of the world doesn't appreciate it when we do that, or when we don't do it.
So, we get hated whether we're trying to save people in Somalia or being total morons in Iraq.
Since Myanmar has no oil, we've no reason to be hated by going in there, no matter how warranted.
It's not the way it should be, but it's the way it is.

Reform the UN Security Council. Veto must be overcome by majority vote. UN must bring those criminal generals to the international court. US cannot do anything alone. The world must act.

That is so horrible! It was a peaceful protest! On the news this morning, I heard all lines of communication have been severed within the city and surrounding areas: no phone, internet, or outbound mail. I don't know of much you can do, friend. Pray.

i don't think of the clergymen desire an invasion with the aid of any u . s . a .. yet while China and/or Japan stepped in diplomatically and sanctioned Burma , the junta could could desire to teach over capacity to the elected president.

The only way you can help them is to chant the Metta for them; a gift of loving-kindness that you can give them and the world. This powerful Karmic device will reach them and give them both bravery and love and, as you will see, it will reach the Generals who oppress them. It is a meditation that I will not spell out here but I have attached a link that you can use to learn it.
Also, your thought of compassion for them as already helped them and you immensely.
