Alright...Well I've been extremely depressed lately with losing my job a few months ago I have fallen behind on bills, before that I had a long struggle with my father being an alcoholic, and moving around as a result of their divorce has also taken it's toll on me. My dilemma is....Should I keep working 68+ hours a week to catch up on my bills a little quicker or no? My full time job pays enough for me to catch up within about...two and a half months. But if I work both jobs I will probably catch up...In about a month and a half...

Working two jobs is taking it's toll on my mental and physical health. And my mental health is already poor. I can't think straight anymore, I barely sleep. I barely have time to do laundry or eat....Or take care of things around the house right now. When both job schedules conflict I end up getting only about 10 hours of sleep in a 3-4 day time period because I try to get as much as I can done around the house.

Is it worth working two jobs?

Thank you all so much for your insight. I normally would know the answer but I've been very indecisive lately. I'm going to get sleep now, I'm incredibly tired. I'll pick the best answer later.

Thank you. :)

You need to look at it from a cost benefit perspective. Get a two pieces of paper and write down on one, all the bad things about working two jobs and on the other page, write all the good things to work two jobs.

You weigh up each reason as to how important it is to you with a point score and tally them. he highest score you decide towards

I'm not sure if it's worth working two jobs, hon.. and boy you sure have been through a lot! i can relate to living with alcoholism, my father is an alcoholic, also and i am recovering.

I was wondering if there was a way you could take out a short-term loan to pay your debts off? This is not practical for everyone, but if you could do it in a matter of 6 months or so, it might help ? You would have to weigh the odds to see if you can afford it... not everyone can, i do understand that.

I'm sorry you've found yourself in this situation. I am not sure if it's worth working two jobs or not? I would suppose it depends upon your age and physical health.

do what is best for you. it would be nice if you had a family member who could loan you $... that way you could work out an easy repayment schedule.

whatever you do, i sure wish you all the best. take care ok?

From what you say, you are burning the candle at both ends. Your work load is already making you sick and I think you need to give yourself a break. I can tell that you want to square up the bills ASAP but at what cost? My advice would be, give yourself a break, just concentrate on 1 job for now and yes, it may take a month longer to get to the finish line but at least (hopefully) you'll arrive in one piece! Good luck!

NO!! Work your regular job and concentrate the rest of your time on healing yourself! YOU need to take care of YOU! Because nobody else will! You need to relax and an extra month to get you caught up is not worth losing your sanity!

If you can pay off the bills with just the one job then give your body a rest and stick with just one. If you dont have yourself then you cant make it to either job. So keep things in moderation.

you got to slow down, you are stressing yourself out...quit one job and take it easy. Bills wil come and go but your health is the most important. remember we only live once in this world so, leave peacefully..may the Lord our God give you the peace you search for ....

No job or late bill is worth killing yourself over. Have faith that God will provide for you and just do what you can reasonably do.
