I had a friend who went barefoot alot and never cared about what she stepped on. For example where where at her sister house and she step on one of there kids shoes and stood there while she was talking, I asked her later if she knew she had stood on it and she told me no, she dose not care about things she steps on. What about you?

I usually don't care what I step on when it comes to glass, thorns, nettles or dirt; my feet are very tough, in over ten years of going barefoot literally everywhere (year-round) I have never cut myself, never had worse than a tiny splinter and even that is very rare. And unless I'm going somewhere nice, dirt will just wash off when I get home.

But I agree with what others said; to step on someone else's belongings is just plain rude!!! No, I don't do that, it doesn't matter what I'm wearing, and if I did I'd immediately move my foot, see if the item was whole and apologize for my clumsiness. I don't step on stuff on the floor, I don't sit on stuff left on chairs, I don't carelessly drop stuff or bang it into anything... but then some people are just very careless and/or clumsy by nature. I know people who have chips off all their dishes and cups, scratches and dents on everything they own for over a week, and they hardly seem to even be aware of it. It may not be a tough-feet thing but more of a general blind spot in her behavior?

I have been going completely Barefoot for over 26 years now, anywhere and everywhere. I dont mind having super Dirty Feet, since now the bottoms of my Feet are Blackened from all the my Barefooting, The only things I care about stepping on are any fecal matter, (of course) or other peoples belongings. Hey Sheriam and Barefooted, you guys rock!!

Yeah you never know what you step on even when barefoot. Who knows maybe some ppl in the distant future would wear gloves more often when in public. I've seen a few librarians wear daily form fitting gloves at work for one reason or another.

I know people who like to go barefooted too. I generally like to wear shoes when possible. There are just somethings I don't want to step on or in.

I go barefoot a lot but if it's not level ground, as in if I can't feel something under my feet that's not supposed to be there, then I take my feet off of the item/s. It's rude to step on the belongings of others, barefoot or not.

If you step on crap, haha.

Yes, I am careful where I step in so I don't step on anything sharp but apart from that I don't mind if my feet get dirty.

I love going barefoot as much as possible.

Having stepped on a nail when I was a kid, (got a tetanus shot, couldn't walk on that foot for a couple of days) yes, I care where I put my feet!
