I have bipolar disorder and in the past when I had my manias, I would have these incredible episodes of psychosis where I would hallucinate or hear voices. I induced these manias by sleep deprivation and putting my body in extreme stress. Are there any other ways (non-drug) of starting a psychotic episode?

Why would you want to do that???I guess some individuals are attention seekers on here?? Or is this a legitimate question? I`m not answering this question, ( I do know the answer).

i would feel very uncomfortable about giving someone ideas about how to induce psychosis, particularly someone who is keen to put them into practice. i do understand you gain enjoyment from it but i would encourage you to look beyond it and try to stay well.

best wishes

I guess you have yet to get stuck in a terrifying psychosis.
I guess you have yet to experience the cognitive decline of untreated bipolar.
I guess you have yet to reach 30.

Don't worry, all of these things will come... unless, of course, you aren't really bipolar.
