Moses started his campaign of terrorism by killing an Egyptian slave master (Exodus 1:15-17) . When the Midianites started inbreeding with the Israelites we have this verse- "And the Lord said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the Lord against the sun, that the fierce anger of the Lord may be turned away from Israel. And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that were joined unto Baalpeor." Num 31- "And they warred against the Midianites, as the Lord commanded Moses; and they slew all the males.... And Moses was wroth with the officers of the host, with the captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, which came from the battle. And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive? .... Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves."

Moses was commanded by god to commit genocide on the surrounding tribes and take over their land as an "inheritance". He didn't live long enough to carry out the task. Joshua did. They were commanded to utterly destroy every living thing in several cities containing thousands of people. They butchered men, women and children who were guilty of one thing- having a different religion. How is this different than bin Laden?

Read the bible. I am not making this up it's common knowledge.

The killing and atrocities of the old testament are worse than anything bin Laden has done. Innocent people were brutally killed by the 10's of thousands merely for having a different religion.

How is this different from terrorism?

Anyone can clearly see that bin Laden is a madman. Why can't they also see that their biblical heroes were also madmen?

Neither.

God has killed and terrorized more.

Your comparing Moses to bin Laden? I don't follow the Bible anymore although there are some lovely things in it but I think you need to snap yourself into the present. We know that a real terrorist is alive and well and living on the border of Pakistan.....we literally know NOTHING about what Moses did. Unless you interpret the bible literally which I doubt due to the tone of your question. I think the comparison stretched far out of bounds.

as much effort as you seem to have put into this analysis.

you seem to have missed one key point.

moses and his people were slaves. moses killed a SLAVE MASTER.

dude how does that equate with killing people just going to work doing legitimate jobs.

maybe if osama attacked a female prostitution slavery ring or child pornogropher then you have a comparison.

but here you don't.

you are talking about a person who fought against slavery (if the stories are true) vs. a rebel without a cause who is a violent murderer of women and children who have done nothing against him or his people.

and because some of them were ny residents they probably even helped his people if they tipped thier cabbies well.

John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."
