Ya, you're right! i've noticed it too.. But accidentally, me too.. i have this crazy feeling over a younger man. I didn't know, at first, that he is very much younger than me 'til i ask him about his age. Maybe women nowadays are a little bit liberated about it.. and it's not just that, or bcoz recently, there are many younger men too like to date or have relationship also with older women!

Women today are almost socially forced to try and keep their looks. By dating a younger man, it's much easier to play the part.
Also, if a woman is looking for sex for reasons other than what a secure man her age or older can provide, she can find and keep any available younger man, quid pro quo.
Another significant reason women are jumping out of their peer group to date is the increase in women working and spending longer hours at work. There's less time to wait to really pick a good partner close to her age and enjoy a longer stay, so this trend encourages relationships that are handier to start - regardless of age.

Only some women do, and maybe it's like a defense mechanism, if their younger, then the woman will die first usually, so no emotional pain with the death of the partiner
