Protestants have rituals. They just don’t know it.

I’ve been to lots of different protestant services and they all seem to know that when the preacher pauses for just a second, they’re supposed to say “amen” or “hallelujah” or “praise God.” They all seem to know when to raise their hands and start to sway back and forth. They all know exactly how many “just”s to put into their prayer such as: “Lord, we just come before you, Lord. We just praise you and just offer you just all our just offer our hearts, and just… just….”

They have ritual too. The Church is "just" more honest about it.

I don't think you can really claim that. Non-Catholic Christians do have regular worship services and some of them are very much like those of the Catholic Church. So they rely on ritual to some degree or else they wouldn't have rituals.

I think that there are more fundamental differences, such as the relationship with the Pope, clerical celibacy, and issues concerning redemption (by grace or by good works?), to name a few.

I would say that Catholics have very old rituals and Protestants have new rituals. Even the most apparently free-form church services are based on some rituals. Even the speaking in tongues and being "slain in the spirit" are a kind of ritual. They have a semi-formulaic "Sinner's Prayer" and altar calls.

Same music - just a different dance.

Nope.

Every Protestant church I've ever been in has their own rituals, even the ones who claimed not to have any traditions!

NO Protaestants DO. I grew up Methodist it isn't that much different then Catholics just minus the statues, Mary worship, and confession.

All beliefs hold to rituals and traditions, some just more tightly than others

I rely on God's word and that's it... rituals and customs are useless. What must I do to be saved? That's all that I'm concerned about...

Yes it is safe. You can say it as much as you like. But is it true? Not necessarily.
