Despite the fact that I am a Christian, sometimes I do find myself questioning God. I don't get why he does punish people in such a harsh way just like the time that he sent a great flood that affected the whole world back in Moses' time.

You are not better judge than God because God knows who does what every second. Nothing is hidden from Him concerning the crime of a person. His decision is best.

What makes you think the judgment outweighs the crime?
Apparently the crime is THAT serious to the only one who has the true right to judge......

Well, it is just in my opinion because had the sinner lived for eternity he who have committed and recommitted the sin for eternity, however he might also be forgiven? only the God knows???

As God never does that, it is a pointless question.

Unlike us, he is all-knowing. He sees the truth of every situation, the consequences of our actions, and is able to correctly respond to them.
