You can find some Chevy's over there and a Caddy will cost around 3,500.00 pounds to ship and then duty, plus you still need to get a contractors business permit to drive one in most of Europe and they cost every year. This is why there are very few large trucks or any trucks being used for private use over there, and very few are for sale. They waste gas, are hard on the old narrow roads, and make a total strain on a small island like the UK and other small countries. The crown makes it pretty hard to use them for personal use. It's not like you were over here and you just by one Willy Nilly and drive it. There are way more hoops to jump through over there. Ask somebody there that does have one as to what is really involved in using a truck (lorry) privately over there, I bet it's a lot more than you're figuring on. The price of petrol should set you back quite a bit of bob too at 1 pound sterling a litre on average. That's like $233.00 a tank (115litre) over here and at 4 tanks a month well you get the picture, it's a morgage payment. If money is not your trouble and you aren't towing nothing or using a full sized box, then get the Caddy by all means, they are like a Rolls over there, just check the dealership out in Kent and see those big numbers on the window sticker, that should shock you pretty good.

My first choice would be neither, they are both environmental disasters and neither will hold any value. The Caddy will fair the worst because luxury cars are famous for selling at half their original sticker after the car is 2 or 3 years old.

Also, you might want to think about fuel costs in England...I've heard as high as $1.75 a liter ($7.00/gal)
Don't make a decision you'll regret later! Look at something smaller and more efficient.
Your wallet and your "Mother" thank you.

If you want a truck to use as a real truck-get the Tahoe.
If you want a Show offy truck-Get the Escalade.

This IS an American Website- But the truck that is caught inbetween the Escalade and the Tahoe is the GMC Yukon:

Now The Yukon Denali is a show offy durable built to last truck-so I'd recommend it 100%:

Good Luck.

Similar vehicles, the Cadillac will cost a lot more but will be more luxurious. The Chevy will be more practical if you ever plan to use it as a truck.

Don't matter - it depends on how much money you are willing to waste. Hint: alternatives: Toyota 4Runner, Toyota Sequoya, Lexus LX or GX 470.
