I canni hear any music from youtube from my speakers or attachments or even the alert pings or start up noise through my speakers......
But I can listen to a c/d in the tower or have earphones in and listen..................Help......................

No mutes are clicked...
I can hear a c/d through the speakers, but not youtube or anything that is on the computer...
The speakers are brand new...

On the bottom right corner of your Windows desktop, click the volume icon.
Unclick 'mute'.

The questionisn't too clear - Can you hear everything through your earphones?....
If so then the earphone socket is probably defective and stopping the sound from getting to the external speakers.
If it is only certain programmes that you can't hear, then check the volume control on these applications.

hi the suggestion i can think off is on the tower at the back for your speakers is that u have them in the wrong socket the best way to check them is play an audio CD and check all sockets when u hear the CD through your speakers you have then cracked it if this has been of any assistance please let me know my email address is keithgilmour@btinternet.com i hope to hear from u sometime .

On the tower click on AUX button!!!!!!!!
