he shook my hand, proceeded to print out the paper, then said how much he loved myhair(burgundy and yellow braids),asked if i was a hairdresser(im not)and he said he loves
it and he wishes he could do his hair like mine(as a joke!) and he kept saying he liked it
and it looked great on me and kept smiling and saying thankyou and in a hurry he left w/
his paper.

This may sound stupid but was he really appreciative b/c it was probably an important
paper and he liked my hair, or was he interested in me even slightly.Even though he was
rushing would he still have got my number if he was interested? What would you have
done? Was he just having friendly conversation? Was he surprised that I let him borrowthe computer so quickly b/c im black????Couldnt he have asked any other person with acomputer with "microsoft word" to borrow their computer? Was he giving me compliments to be polite? Do guys always intoduce themselves for these situations?I havent seen him since..What do i do nexttim

Hi krys,

I think you are putting an awful lot of pressure on yourself to understand this and label it. You should just enjoy the attention and flirtation. He appeared to be in a hurry to get this printed and "be somewhere" but took the time to approach and talk to you.

In college you will meet people from all walks of life and be flirted with by people in a dozen different ways. Just enjoy it.

If you are attracted to this person, be in the same computer lab or place and see if you meet him again. Approach him and start a conversation. Ask for his phone number, if you want it.

That's very interesting, but I think he's interested. If you hadn't seen him since, I think he might have been nervous and thought he freaked you out and, who knows? He might be on here right now asking advice about you! Okay, so before you go and do anything, I think you should find out more about him and if you're interested back (of course, if he is too) then go to him and you know, talk to him and stuff, hang out sometimes if you want, try your best. If he is interested, then he might be "hiding" from you and then suddenly come out of no where a few days later and have something to do with you like the microsoft thing. All you can do is try, so get out there and talk to him! Find his life story! whoooooooooo wOoO go! anyway good luck!!!

Next time you see him, ask him if he would like to go out sometime. He will answer and you get to live happily ever after no matter what the answer is. No one really knows what he is thinking. If you just ask him how he feels and tell him how yu feel you can find out more about him. You might not like him once you get to know him better. It sounds like so far he hasn't given any indication he is not interested.

Good way to break the ice...guys do that! He's at least attracted physically and may want to get to know you more. You'll have another chance at him, he'll make sure of it! He'll be looking for clues that you may be interested in him and is probably wondering the same about you! Good luck!

Men don't usually introduce themselves and tell you their name unless they are interested. The computer thing was a convenient excuse to meet you. Good luck!

It sounds like he's interested. Next time you see him, start a conversation. Maybe ask about his paper, or if you are bold, ask for a ride on his motorcycle.

Not a guy but, he probably just wanted to print his paper out. Perhaps he picked you because he thought you might not get attention from guys a lot and it would be easy to get you to let him use your computer.

well, i am white and my wife is brown, color don´t always mater too awful much :)

sounds like he is interested in you. weather he calls or not does not always mean any thing, but you talking to him, smiling at him, or even looking at him will matter. the more you talk, the easier it will be for him to call you, good luck.

I think he digs you. Most of the time we introduce ourselves and use compliments its because we dig a chick.
