i would say yes. For one thing it is illegal. For another, a 36 yr old and a 17yr old are in WAY different places in thier lives, and while there may be attraction, the relationship would most likely not work out. a 17 yr old still has ts of things to experience to shape thier life. A 36 yr old has allready seen all that and is a different person.

YES YES and HELL YES! Babygirl if a 36 year old man wants you then he wants nothing out of his life. I am not saying that you are not worthy but I am saying that a grown man should not even entertain that thought and a young lady should not want someone like that. There are plenty of age appropriate young men who are on your level. Try someone who is closer in your age group and run away from that man. Answer this; if you had a daughter who was 17 would you want a 36 year old man to look at her or "hook up" with her? be careful sweetie.

The question is, why would a Thirty-six year old want to be with a 17 yr old? It wouldn't be because he was interested in hearing all about her life experience's. He is old enough to have been there done that, twice. It wouldn't be because he is a law abiding citizen, because it's illegal. It wouldn't be because he just likes having conversation with you girls. He could hang out with his niece. It is because he is an under developed pervert. Who cant handle a older woman on his level. It's much easier to impress a teenager than an adult. So, that just leaves sex. Sex for the sake of sex is wrong.

Are you Serious???? I am 38 and I think that is disgusting. Let's think about this... He has been out of high school as long as you have been alive, would it be ok for him to "Hook up" with you if he were 18 and you were 1 years old??? You are still underage and if he is pressuring you to have sex with him he is a pervert and needs to be reported to DCFS. Or at least the police. You need to evaluate why you want to "hook up" with him. If your father is absent in your own life, that is a good indication why you are seeking an older man's attention. Contact your father if he is absent or find someone who is going to have a platonic relationship with you and be a father figure, not sleep with you. Do not disgrace yourself by giving yourself to that man. You have way too much life to live to do something that you are going to regret. Good Luck.

I believe, folks, that it's illegal if she were under 16. While it's disturbing that this older gentleman is interested in someone so young, it's legal. But, whether it's wrong or right is not so relevant compared to how much could you two have in common? Down the road you will find that he can do more things legally than you can. You won't be able to go out with him in the evenings like to a bar. People will stare, he's more established in life than you...he's done with school, more experiences...you will find this to be a source of frustration, or he will in the end. You may want to stick with someone more your age.

Im 23 and i cant see myself with a 17 yr old. Now if i was 26 i could see myself with a 20 year old. I think the age means less and less as you get older. I think since you are that young you should find sombody closer to your age.

There is no wrong or right when it comes to relationships. What works for some doesn't work for others.
However, this doesn't sound like a wise decision. I can't imagine that you would have much in common other than a physcial attraction, and that is not much foundation for a relationship.
