Here are some quotes, including ripping apart pregnant women:

Hosea 13:16 God promises to dash to pieces the infants of Samaria and the “their women with child shall be ripped up”. Once again this god kills the unborn, including their pregnant mothers.

1 Samuel 15:3 God commands the death of helpless "suckling" infants. This literally means that the children god killed were still nursing.

Psalms 137:9 Here god commands that infants should be “dashed upon the rocks”.

Leviticus 20:9 “For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.”

2 Kings 6:28-29 “And the king said unto her, What aileth thee? And she answered, This woman said unto me, Give thy son, that we may eat him today, and we will eat my son tomorrow. So we boiled my son, and did eat him: and I said unto her on the next day, Give thy son, that we may eat him: and she hath hid her son.”

He is not a cruel God but is Justice and Righteous.

Parents are responsible for the children. If those cities and tribes were judged to be wholly wicked, they deserved death. Any time someone dies, the potential for making unborn babies are killed with them.

For instance, a man is killed in war. All the children he could possibly have is killed too. How terrible are the ones who killed him?

The difference is that God can resurrect the dead. Even those who died as children or babies. We are assured of this resurrection on the new earth the Bible foretells.

All those verses you quoted are from the OT. Why don't you check out some of the New Testament....

John 3:16 -- For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Philippians 4:8 -- Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.

1 Corinthians 13 (the Love chapter)

1 John 4:7-8 -- Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
