What worked for my kids is The Potty Stool http://www.thepottystool.com This stool makes every toilet kid-sized. The handles on this stool make all the difference. My daughter potty trained quickly because she was so excited about this stool. She loved using the big toilet because she knew that is what everyone uses. I like that it is sturdy and safe and got her out of diapers fast. The best part is that kids use it for years. Hope this helps you.

Depends on her age. If she's anything up to 3 it's quite usual. Have you considered that it may be an attention seeking exercise? When you're changing her into clean pants she gets you entirely to herself, quite a thing with twins. Try sitting her on the potty at the times you think she may poo, if you make a great fuss of her, read to her while she's sitting there or sing songs with her she'll get to like it and will start to ask for the potty . Good luck and don't worry.

My eldest son up to the age of 4 wouldn't poo on the toilet or potty, he had to have a nappy, until one day in the summer holidays before he started full-time school, we were down my dads, I pretended I hadn't brought a nappy, so he HAD to use the loo and from then on he didn't use a nappy - kids don't you just love them.

Well, that rather depends how old she is. It's not uncommon but most kids grow out of that by 3 or 4 and certainly before school age.
