I'd like to see Rockingham on the schedule, nascar could cut one of the Martinsville races, I hate that paper clip track.

Bring back " The Rock" aka Rockingham...And bring the Southern 500 back to labor day weekend in Darlington.. Nascar can dump a Pocano race, and take one from Fontana,CA hey I live in Calif..we just can not get enough fans to come to the races out here...Every seat in the house will be full in Darlington, I've been to more than 15 races there, never a empty seat, and with the upgrades they are doing to the track...Nascar please bring back the Southern 500...its a Nascar tradition.. also its a shame to see Rockingham go to waste, great track also went to alot of races there..

I agree with you on Rockingham but they should either cut a California or Pocono race. Maybe they should cut 1 at EACH and then add a new road course in the regular season and go to Watkin's Glen in the chase. Martinsville is a great short track and we don't need to have any fewer races there. The action is always good and the finish in the spring was the best (not the closest) one this year. Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon beating on each other for 20 some laps and coming across the finish line side by side is an instant classic.

In Colorado we had a wonderful 1 mile track that the Busch Series raced on, at PPIR. ISC thought that they could build a track closer to Denver, so they bought Pike's Peak International Raceway and closed it. They were counting their chickens before they were hatched, though, because Denver is anti NASCAR.
ISC still hasn't demolished PPIR, and the property hasn't been sold, so I would like to see them open that back up.
For Cup, I am with you on Rockingham.

Lets get some of these cookie cutter tracks off the schedule huh? California, texas, dover, michigan, they dont deserve two races a year. Bring back Darlington on labor day weekend. They should add some new tracks too, maybe road america or VIR and another oval.

I'd vote Rockingham. but jgrevinjim made a good call on Pikes Peak - 3 wide racing on a mile track...you can't go wrong.

Bring back the Rock. Just drop one of the many 1.5 mile quad ovals that all look the same or a Pocono race. I'd also take the 2nd Cali race and move it back to Darlington where it belongs.

Rockingham, but take away one of California's dates for it, the place never sells out as it is.

"THE ROCK"
they could bring back the southern 500 and switch it for the labor day race in fontana....its too darn hot!!! i live 20 mins. from the track and i think if they switched labor day weekend in fontana with a race later in the race schedule they would have a better turnout!!! not many people will brave the heat in sept. ( I DID ) but a race say in oct. or nov. well that would be alot better!!!
GO HARVICK & RCR!!!
