I have flown a gazillion times but I will always stop whatever I am doing and zone in on the emergency presentation by the flight attendants or the video. I always look to find my nearest exit and I look to see who is at that exit....I wonder are they capable of really prying that door open so I can bust a move if this big bird were to take a dive...

Does anyone else really care when you travel on an airplane or are those presentation something you just ignore?

No your not alone , as many times as I have flown I am always concerned about what I need to do in an emergency. I also check out the competence of the staff. I also look around the plane for those unusual ones, if you know what I mean. Yeah, I 'm abit paranoid, but I'd perferr to survive a situation then pretend everything is wonderful

I always check where the emergency exits are in airplanes, cinemas, large vessels etc. Better safe than sorry. I believe many people do pay attention to safety instructions :)

I've already examined the layout of the plane before they get to it. I check to make sure that I don't have to scramble for something that isn't there in case worse comes to worst. But I last flew in 2001.

I don't care. I'm usually zoned in on my iPod, Laptop, or BlackBerry. I figure if the plane goes down, then at least I got to hear a good song or send an email to a loved one.

Flying do weird things to many people. Going against my character, when I fly I am so scare, I can't even read, something I love to do. For my mother, flying is safer than seating on her living room. And she is a scary cat! Go figure.
