As salaamu, a kufi is a skull cap worn by devout Muslim males usually in an act or sign of humility before Allah, Subhanna wa Ta'ala. Such is similar to the yamaka worn our Jewish brothers.

Dear All

Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullah.

I wear a Kufi all the time Alhamdulillah.

It is part of a Sunnah as Rasoolullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam used to wear a Turban over the Kufi also called as Taqia on His Blessed Head.

Any act Sunna which is done by a Muslim in actions and dress copying Rasoolullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam earns vitues from allahu Ta'ala as it is done in love of him.

No one can become a Mumin a degree higher than a Muslim unless he or she loves Allah and His Holy Prophet sallallahu alaihi wsallam more than his own life. Sahaba rizwanallahum alaihim ajmaeen yused to address Rasoolullah sallallahu alahi wasallam. My parents be sacrificed on you Ya Rasoolullah. Fida Ummi wo Abi Ya Rasoolullah.

May Allah Bless All of us and the Whole of Humanity Aameen.
