All you need to get on the internet is a relative or a library card.
See if you can find a homeless shelter or halfway house for now. Get cleaned up and start applying for jobs you know you qualify for. If you are a vet you can go to the vets office in your county. You should be able to go to the courthouse and get help just ask anyone in there for directions.
The internet is a great place to search for jobs. But going door to door can also land you some work. Dont be too proud to ask for help many people out there willing to. Many job centers or career centers will get you anything you need.

To the people above--how ignorant.
Start with a local shelter that will allow you to set up address there so you can get a job. There are many other organizations to assist the homeless, but obviously not enough. You could talk to a priest or minister in your area to see if they may offer any assistance. There is the salvation army and the red cross.

Maybe you could go to your local centerlink and see if there are any positions available for courses that may help you improve your prospects of employment. As far as homeless have a look at the hostel postings around, there are always rooms to rent in shared accomodation.

I used to be homeless and if you are truly hurting, I have a room you can stay in with no string attached. I put quite a few people up over the years. E mail me if you're serious.

Um, guys (above) you can get on the internet from almost any copy center and a number of cafes these days.
To the original poster: I don't know what area you're in, so I don't know what services to refer you to. They will be different depending on city and country.
Anywhere in America, right now, jobs are tough. Signs show that we're on the cusp of another Great Depression. I'm going abroad to find work.

Go to your local social services organization and find a in house program that works to help homeless people become self-sufficient. They are out there you just have to look. Good luck to you and keep your head up. There is only one way to go and thats up.

you cant be doing to bad you have access to a computer and some how made you way into yahoo answers.
So being homeless and jobless, is a bit of a cop out.
Maybe you should stop playing on computer for fun and get your self into some study, or start door knocking for a job hell wash dishes its a job.
Stop thinking about all the things you want and focus on all the things you need.
