I need to name the 2 male kittens I found according to the vet so I can keep getting the rescue organization rate. Until yesterday..I thought one was a girl! I like human names and I would prefer they end in "y" or "ie". So far I think I like the name Jessie for one of them....but I need a name for his brother. They are pretty much solid smokey grey in color with medium length fur.

Have you considered the name "Smokey" for the brother ? It ends in a "y" just like you want. Or "Smokie" which ends in "ie". I have 4 kittens and 2 grown cats. It took me a long time to name the kittens. I finally settled for Kiara, Peaches, Tabby, and Scar. Their mama's names is just that "Mama" and my siamese male cat's name is "Nanook". I wish you the best luck in naming your kittens and I hope you enjoy raising them.

I think you answered you own question....... the second cat should be named "Smokey". If you prefer a human name, I once new a person named "Stormy" and my mothers cat is named "Stormy" but that is because of his temperament. He is not a very friendly cat. See my source list for a link to male cat names.

I named my dachshund Bentley because when i was looking an add for the new Bentley came up and i thought it would suit he has a long body and hood so did the old Bentley's. and it's very regal which is him to a tea. his name is perfect for him. but try the above sites for some tips

experts recommend for training to keep your dog's name to one syllable, also not name them after any thing that sounds like a command ie:- Kit & sit ...ect..
try some thing obscure like, type in your name into a search and name puppy after the first add that pops up - there is always an add popping up somewhere or if you like Eddie (Edward) means "little guardian" not original but i thought it was cute (could be for a boy or girl). or if your into unusual names how about the first 3 letters from your first name and the first 3 of your last, or if you have a name that begings with some thing like a K and your surname is Jones your dog could be Kone or if your surname is something like Carter you could have Kay - Cee and name your pet after

Take a good look at your kittens. Then pick a name that fits their personality.
My dog was the runt, his name is Dozer. My four new kittens that are just 6 weeks old are named, Bully because he just pushes threw, Bear because he looks like one and likes to climb, Pokey because he is is slow, and Little Girl is Indy because she likes to be independent and is fast.
