Hi there!

I am a big procrastinator. I have been jobless for almost a month now and am supposed to be beginning a job Columbus Day.

I get up at 5 with my boyfriend to make him breakfast, coffee, pack his lunch and get him out of the house. He is gone until about 630 pm. I have all the best intentions, too....but I usually don't get anything done until I know he's about to come home, then I race like a mad woman. I am guilty of being on here answering questions, on live journal, or on myspace. Also, I tend to chat with people on AIM. When you're unemployed, and in a new city....what the heck else are you supposed to do? You are not the only one. We should start a support group for people who's bums hurt because they are at the computer all day not ironing! I hate ironing to begin with! :D

Cheers,

Kerry

You have just described my morning. I am exactly the same. My house is a tip too, but it is more enjoyable being on here. As you said, my jobs will get done too. That happens when the children come in from school and i am kicked off the computer.

Have a nice day, i know i will!!!!

Yeah I think that is me all over - full of good intentions but somehow everything still gets done! It's a bit like a drug "Oh I'll just check my emails before I start the rest of my day" An hour later as you answer another question "I'll just answer this question then I'll get on with things'' It's just one of those inescapable cycles - resistance is futile!

Most definitely! But it is more fun than housework. I tell myself its only whilst I have a cup of tea, but it usually just gets cold while I am on here (Q & A) and then get diverted to e-mails etc. and the odd game and before I know it, its dinnertime or time to walk to dog.

Yes! Time goes by so fast when we are on here! I need to be getting ready for work! Then, I see another great question-like this one- because it fits so well. I've been up drinking coffee and on here for an hour. On break at work, I know I'll be checking back in! I really don't know what has happened to me. Tonight I'll be on here for hours and hours...... :)

Sure, I've done that from time to time... it's just procrastination. You know you should be doing other things, but the computer seems so darn interesting! Don't worry about it, it happens to everyone from time to time.

Hope this helps.
