I love the guys that say "oh they were snuck into Syria." Or wherever.
What they mean is, assuming the stuff was there, the US just spent half a trillion dollars to scatter huge stockpiles of nerve gas all over the mideast, where god knows who has it now.
Wheras before it was all in the possession of one guy, who never dared use them on us. Even when we reduced his entire country to rubble, and chased him personally down a hole in the ground.

You are wrong in the assumption in your question. WMD's were found. They were used in the past. The biggest WMD's, Saddam and his two sons, were eliminated.
