just need some help, i recently graduated from high school...and i know i have a future ahead of me open to a new social life...but i keep thinking about this gorgeous boy at the bus stop who just happens to be 2 years younger than me (im 18) hes 16....what sucks is i thought he was as old as me when i first saw him cause he was taller and pretty mature looking.....I've noticed him looking at me a few times and i think...THINK... once he even missed the bus for me, we always give each other glances...but i don't know if thats just because i look at him and make it obvious...and i wanna find out if he likes me before i approach him...he mite get intimidated having an 18yo approaching him....how can i do this?...i feel weird being older...but i cant help it...

2 years is not that much gap, so dont worry about it. and just thinking if he appraoches you first dont miss the chance (just thinking first him or me). go and ask him for something like time or anything like that just to make some conversation and then may be he will start talking to you.

why worry about age..he does not know yet how old are you anyway and if he is really interested which i think he is then there is no harm for you just to say hello and ask him f he wants to have a conversation over a cup of coffee or anything that is harmless and just to know each other better and converse, if he is not interested or just as you said get intimidated by you being 2 yrs. older then just move on because he is not worth the time of your life but do approach him because at least you will not be thinking that you let the oppurtunity pass you by....

16 - 18 isn't much difference so give him a smile and see what happens. Don't get heavy though because you are right - you (and he) have a big future ahead and you don't need to get tied down to just one person at your age.

My girl friend is 5yrs older than me but we have many things in common and age is not a problem.
As long as you guys like on another that is the main thing.

you know just become friends. he is too young to be dating someone your age.
the age gap closes as you get older so ask him out when HE graduates!!
