Connection?Welfare benefits,free housing and furnishings,driving lessons and free cars,benefits to those still living in their mother countries i.e child benefit.It all has to be paid for from somewhere,and who pays?Us silly buggers.

The estimate last year for immigration was 500,000, the same number as the year before. A million people in only two years! I am English, I started work when I was 14. Apart from 2 years as a conscript, (To defend Britain from forign invasion) I was never out of work until I was made redundant at 60. When I went to pick up my dole for the first time in my life, I was told that as I was over 55 I would not get any. If I go into my local post office on Monday, the place is full of aliens getting hand outs, many of them barely able to speak English.
We hear a lot of the beneficial effects of immigration, but I haven't seen many of them. I have seen plenty of reports of black men using guns freely, even machine guns, and if you deny this then you must live in a world of your own. These men talk a lot about 'respect', they really mean 'fear'. East European gangs importing girls for prostitution are rife, and these men are really frightening. The civilised England that I knew has gone for ever, never to return. This country now buys virtually everything it uses, from hammers to cars, and sells virtually nothing to pay for it. How can we survive? Can any clever person out there tell me? The prisons are full, but the govt. won't build any more. They prefer to spend thousands of millions of pounds on the stupid white elephant of the Olympics, so villians walk the streets and laugh at the law. Add all these factors together and you have a recipe for Armageddon, at least in Britain.

Do you have any idea about what you are talking about. Immigrants don't get free housing and free driving lessons. I know because I live in an immigrant hot spot and all they get is a crusty B&B and half a giro. So next time you to shoot your mouth off about things you dont understand, back it up with some evidence.

You pose two questions here. The first is How soon before England becomes bankrupt. The answer to that is it can not.
The United Kingdom may become bankrupt, but it is not likely to do so.

The answer is no. Most immigrants live in harmony with UK nationals. Most come here to work, not scrounge. Though there are those who seem to come for a free ride, the number is far less than those who want to work.
The real question you should be asking is 'Should we be forcing the unemployed to do the jobs that immgrants are doing instead.' No one seems to want to ask that though.

YES! Enoch Powell was right.
We who think this are not nazis, but ordinary UK citizens whose country is being taken over by people, a lot of whom have no intention of working when they get here. And many have no intention of learning our language.
And in comparison to the amount of immigrants coming into this country the emmigrants leaving is small. When they do go to Spain, France etc, it is usually to jobs they have got before they go.
You try and get into USA, Canada or Australia without a job, your police record being checked and you will get nowhere.
But this government just lets anyone in....paedophiles, rapists, thieves and thugs......and before the do gooders say how do i know......there have been lots of cases of these crimes so far. So not only do they come here are live off our hard earned money, they abuse our citizens.
Did you know that immigrants come first in the queue for NHS appointments before UK residents? That is a proven point.
I don't mind if they come here if they have jobs to come to, and can speak the language. I know a couple of Poles and they are very nice, but on the other hand the Portuguese, Russians, and some others are very rude, brash and mannerless. They expect to be treated better. They never say please, thank you or excuse me. If you accidentaly bump into one you get a dirty look, and they can gather in gangs and be very intimidating especially to elderly people.
There is a hospital near me which deals with dementia patients. They have hired a few immigrants who cannot speak proper English. Now I work with dementia patients and these poor elderly people have a lot of difficulty understanding and being understood because of their mental state. Can you imagine how they feel trying to understand broken English or making themselves understood to foreigners who can't really understand them. Not only do these patients speak English, but are from north Scotland and have a very distinctive broad accent which some English born people find hard to understand.
FREE AS A BIRD......shut up!. if you want to spout off about the planet then get off the immigrations questions. The summer of 1914 was one of the worst on record...was that the fault of global warming too? It's a well known fact the stages of the worlds weather goes round in circles. Was the last ice age caused by global warming too.
PETER H.....well said....brilliant answer. Our forefathers would turn in their graves to see what a weak country we have turned out to be. Led by do gooders, weak government leaders and political correctness.
GREAT? Britain...not anymore I'm afraid. We are the laughing stock of the world, and probably of the immigrants.
We need to get this country back into shape and the only way we can do that is
Get rid of political correctness
Get rid of most of the immigrants.
Then make it law that no one gets in without having a job to come to, or without speaking fluent English
When they commit a crime..deport them.....no fuss just get rid with no stupid time consuming "appeals"
Give them health checks...how many have come in here with Aids, Hepititis and STDs?
THIS IS OUR COUNTRY AND ITS HIGH TIME WE STARTED FIGHTING BACK!!!!!

It will change when the criminal element of the immigrants start buying houses next to the M.Ps, and start to take over towns like Stratford on Avon or Windsor and put themselves up for candidates in Elections.

The UK has always benefitted from immigration. You yourself will have been descended from migrants at some point. The UK has one of the strongest economies in the developed world and is in no danger of becoming bankrupt. The UK is the fifth most wealthy nation in the world.
There are a large number of UK citizens leaving to work and live in other parts of the EU as well, so the British population is not rising by that much.
Was Enoch Powell right? No, his "rivers of blood" was a rather needless speech.

Yes, Enoch was a man with foresight, he could see what would become of Britain, and he's been proved right. Our wealth is being drained away by these so called migrant workers, who know that by coming here they can claim benefits without putting into the pot, and judging by the amount of Brits leaving the country, it wont be too long before that pots empty.

We have them with us at work at the moment, they speak very little English and you can't explain the Dangers within the Factory environment to them!! Real Health and Safety issue!!
I really feel for the genuine one's here, but it's gonna keep our hourly rates low and job's will be hard to get for ourselves!!
We will be in a real mess soon!!!
