I'm 20 yrs. old, six foot 3 and weigh about 155 lbs. But for the past few months I've been getting these bad headaches. When I'm working, and it gets really hot, or I have to do a lot of bending over, my head will start to hurt very badly, and once I get one of those headaches, I'm pretty much doomed with it for the rest of the day, even if I take it easy once I'm done working.
I also get these headaches when I get really angry about something or if I pick up something heavy for too long. Working out in the gym or running does NOT help relieve the pain. Also, taking an 2 asprin pills or 2 ibuprofen pills DOES NO GOOD WHAT SO EVER. Even when I took a goody powder, it lessened the headache only, but didn't stop it.

It's only been a few months or so since I've started getting these headaches. Might I have high blood pressure despite my age and weight? (Most of my life when I'd get my BP checked it'd be about 110 over 70. 7 months ago it was 120 over 80 so it's gone up a little

Headache is very rarely caused by high blood pressure. It has to be really high, and sustained, to cause a headache.

I had headaches all day every day for two weeks, and when I finally saw the doctor, my blood pressure was off the chart. Your blood pressure is normal.

The main causes of headaches are hunger, tension, and eyestrain. Headaches caused by bending over may be due to a sinus problem. Headaches when you are angry are usually caused by muscle tension.

Blood pressure can change for a lot of reasons through out the day. If you are under a great deal of stress your blood pressure can go up significantly. In order to be diagnosed with High blood pressure, doctors usually prefer to have several BP measurement at different times so they can see if there are variations. You should go visit your doctor and tell him about the headaches you've been having including their onset times and if the pain is localized to one side of the head or in several areas. You might be suffering from migraines or cluster headaches. These types of headaches can have many triggers and sometimes aren't relieve by regular over the counter pain relievers. Good luck and I hope you start feeling better

I don't know of anyone with high blood pressure that gets headaches from it. There are many causes of headaches some of which can be very dangerous. I not going to suggest any so you don't worry unnecessarily.

Go see a doctor. Its important enough that you should spent money you can't afford, to find out.

Sweetheart sounds to me that you are very stressed. 120/80 is normal blood pressure. You need to relax. Think of things that are pleasant to you while working to take your mind of your heat and the type of work that you do. Stop letting things and people get to you, to upset you and have you to become angry. Things you have no control over; let go and let it be. Save yourself some energy and headaches. You'll see!

Headaches can be caused by minor problems like eye strain, lack of coffee or more serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and meningitis. Check out http://www.aches.in/headache.html for more info.
