Why are some young women attracted to older men!?

Question

I have a very good girlfriend, who is beautiful, smart, funny, and all around a really nice girl. But why is it that she is always attracted to the older men. There's tons and tons of guys who would die to go out with her, but yet she chooses to go out with older men that are atleast 10 years her senior. What is she thinking? How can I get her to find someone more our age ( since we're only a year apart ) instead of a dirty old man?

Girl, I didn't mean to upset you. Just trying to find you a handsome, nice YOUNG guy for you. After all, when we get older, don't want you to be left alone because that dirty old man you wanted to marry just died of old age.

It's me; I told you already, I am not interested in younger guys. Older men are intellectually stimulating and much more interesting; they are quite knowledgeable in philosophy, something that has always captured my interest. Besides, some still believe in chivalry and gallantry, and I have yet to find my Prince Charming. I am determined to find him, perhaps I will find him here, or at one of our weekend parties. I'm not sure where I will find him, but I know he will be a guy that is much older than both of us are, and it will be just fine.

Hey, not all older men are "dirty", but most of the "good" ones are already taken by then. IDK why she prefers her men older, maybe it's the "father figure" or just the maturity that attracts her, but ten years isn't such a long age difference. My grandfather used to tell me that the man should always marry a woman 10 years younger than himself. He lived to 99. Problem was I was around 22 at the time, getting married to a woman about my own age.
