I am in the airline sector and away from home for days at a time. I am vegetarian (lacto-ovo) but want to go vegan. Given that hotels and the weird hours that I work, there is not much open, esp for Vegan diets.

Any suggestions on what to pack for 3 or 4 days, snacks etc wise?

Thanks

maybe a few carrot sticks or and an apple, and some whole wheat bread and some kind of spreading, like jam, peanut-butter, etc. and maybe nuts and raisins. nuts are part of the meat group you know, but there not a type of animal so i still eat them. hope my suggestions help you decide what to pack for lunch.

Snacks lead to bad habits. You will really need a nutritous balance meal every day if you plan to go Vegan. Start with a hardy breakfast. Eat at least five fruits and a dark green salad every day to balance out essential nutrients your body will need. Do not forget to purchase a good B-Complex supplement. 20 plus years vegetarian.

You can pack Luna Bars or Clif Bars. There are also fruit-and-nut bars such as Nectar Bars or Larabars. I agree you should try to bring peanut butter and crackers, packets of dried fruit, and the like.
