Cranium, if you want to buy a board game.
Otherwise, a casino night almost always goes over well. You really just need a few decks of cards, some fake money and then look up the rules for a few games online. Throw in a few prizes at the end and if you're feeling up to it, figure out a way to do a roulette wheel.

Murder. You sit in a circle with all the lights off and a single candle in the middle. You make little pieces of paper, one for each person in the circle, and put an "X" on only one piece. Mix up the papers, take one, pass them down, the one with the "X" is the "murderer". That person kills people by winking at them. They do this so others can't see them wink. 5 seconds after the person winks at you, you say, "I'm dead". You win the game by either guessing who the murderer is or by killing everyone in the circle till only one person is left.
This is for slightly older people though. Not a good game for toddlers, if that is the kind of party you are talking about.

Go buy a Nintendo Wii and play Big Brain Academy...it's fun and interactive. A family favorite around here is Guesstures and any card game...you name it...my family plays it.
