No it is not just for diabetics. It can be used as you would use Equal or Natrataste. Actually I have heard that Splenda is the better of all health wise to use.

not just for diabetics. splenda sugar is the best sweetener you can use because it's made from sucrose, unlike equal or other sweeteners which contain aspartame, said to have negative effects on the body.

Not only for diabetics. We have used it since it came on the market to help control the empty calories in sugar.
I actually baked with it last Christmas with good success.
