nothing between two consenting adults is necessarily "bad". But oral sex can be unhealthy if you don't take a few simple precautions. The one performing the oral stimulation needs to have good oral hygiene, should in fact brush their teeth and use an antibacterial mouthwash BEFORE engaging in oral sex. The one recieving, needs to urinate immediately after, to flush any remaining bacteria away. Other wise, the risk of urinary tract infection is quite high. Also, if the one performing has any sores, like fever blisters or cold sores, which are herpes virus, they should not give oral sex at all, because they can shed the virus whether they have an active sore or not and give the reciever genital herpes.....not life threatening, but not curable either.

Oral sex is deliciously and sinfully rich in bacterial secretions. Everyone should try it at least once.

I once dated a young woman who had a box that smelt like the inside of a green waste receptable during the summer the sanitation workers went on strike. Even after washing my fingers with Lava soap - the noxious fragrance would linger.

She looked like a cross between Angelina Jolie and Hailey Berry, so I tried my damnest to overlook the odour. We got drunk one night and things got hot and heavy. One thing led to another and she begged me to perform oral on her. I balked, made joking excuses, but she was insistent (inclusive of grabbing my ears and directing me downward). I decided to give it the old college try (hell, sea urchin roe was disgusting the first time I ate it). I got within 6 cm of the labial folds and the odour entered my soul like a gastric tube forced down your throat by an angry toddler!!!

She/it was undulating like a dying sea creature on a plate of sand while hear gripping hands used my ears to pull me downward onto the foul stenched sex creature. My stomach heaved and I spewed a vomitus ghoulash of Mexican food, creme broulee, tequila, and Heinekin onto the dirty little animal. She screamed, "oh that's gross" and ran into the head to clean up.

Later, as the relationship had understandlibly cooled, when she was berating me for being so unilaterally inclined in the oral pleasure department, I revealed the reason for my having spewn onto her. She cried, got angry, called me names, and walked out.

I later learned from her roommate that she had a Vaginal Fistula - e.g. a hole in the membrane separating the rectum from the vagina. It appears that her problem came from a festering stew of feces, bacteria, and vaginal discharge juices.

Three months later my ex-roommate Julian, who always thought she was hot and admitted to self-pleasuring while imagining her in various au naturel positions and scenarios, started going out with her. I guess she got the fistula fixed.

That's all I have to say on the topic.

I hope this helps.

oral sex in and of itself is not bad.

unless you are in a monogomous relationship in which you and your partner are 100% sure you're STD free, you still need to use protection because you are coming in contact with bodily fluids. use a condom or dental dam.

Both the Herpes complex and simplex strains have now been found to possibly infect the genital region this means that somethign as innocent as canker sores can cause infection of herpes simplex in the genital region.
