Yes, you need antibiotics. AZO will hide the symptoms but not cure it, so it'll just linger on and on and possibly go to your kidneys. Pink off colored blood is a symptom of a UTI. Don't be too concerned about that. Stop taking the AZO for at least a day, probably two, BEFORE going to the doctor. The AZO will mess up your urine sample. But you NEED to go to the doctor. Also, taking cranberry supplements will help (I find they work better than juice because most cranberry juice is too sweetened, and the sugar has the opposite effect that the cranberries have).

The blood is common in UTI's. You can take the AZO like you have been doing and drink cranberry juice. You really do need to go see the doctor and get some Septra DS also know as Bactrim DS unless you are allergic to sulfa, in that case you would need Cipro or Keflex. Good luck.

you have blood in your urine, that is why it is pink, and that means that the infection is well advanced, and no lots of water and AZO will not treat it. You must see a doctor for antibiotics. Do it quickly too, before the infection spreads to your kidneys.

it is not advisable to self medicate..because that is one of the reason for increasing level of bacterial resistance. and azo is too strong for UTI. i do suggest that you go see your doctor so you can have a urinary exam and to give you the right antibiotic. and drinking plenty of water helps a lot.

You need to go see the doctor to be put on antibiotics. In the meantime try drinking cranberry juice, it helps to relieve the symptoms but it won't cure you.

See a doctor! He will give you antibiotics and it will be cleared up in no time. No sense in dealing with the pain and discomfort when it can be easily cured.
