Visions and near-death experiences are very real in every culture! This is wonderful that your faith is increased by the hearing of such things. "we live by faith" is a motto that only God's children hear. There are many skeptics and non-believers in our world today Pumpkin but believe what your heart tells you is true and you will be fine. I had a vision (some may say a psychotic break) of heaven and hell! Not something that I will ever forget. Not something that I could have ever made up either! There really is life after; and what I learned is that we are here not for ourselves, but to give glory and honor to God Almighty. Look for your blessings and make them happen for others and you will be happy and prepared!

Be In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
Thank to the God, You have bring me to the "story near-death" one year ago, so I can explain it to other peoples that may be needed sometimes.
Story about death which usually described as fearful something that, on the verge of very about with real situation which I have experience of.
About one year ago, I temporarily death for about a week in the hospital. Believe it, I feel just a longtime sleep and feel as in the journey to an other world. I met someones that different with any people in the earth world.
However, when some power bring me down at some place and talking to someone about something that I do not know the meaning of it word. At the end the power was brought me down at the open place then I meet my wife and children in the hospital.
Life after death - the an other story - beside "near-death" story actually is not different life with our current life in the earth world. It could be sad or happy and it is the continuity of our current life today.
Just complete our mission correctly as the God commanding to us, that okay. There no worries about near-death or death it self. Even you do not go anywhere you will to there - death and life again in the different wold that be long to the God. You and I, are be long to the only God, Allah - Who Allah ?
Thank a lots for your kindly attention to this secret world.

i have heard some theories. a very last electric powered charge to the mind because it dies, or lack of oxygen. this is not any longer quite ok studied, i don't think of scientists are very attracted to it. an thrilling element is that NDEs are very custom-certain. Hindus see Yama, the lord of lack of existence, even as Christians see Jesus. And even as Christians do see Jesus, they see what they assume to ascertain, no longer what he quite might want to be like. for instance: "The culturally determined visual attraction of Jesus in a unmarried NDE recollects circumstances of stigmata the position the nail wounds of Jesus seem interior the fingers—precisely the position artists' depictions of Jesus on the pass placed them—yet no longer the position nails might want to be placed (interior the wrists) with a view to effectively crucify someone." absolutely, if it were a fabricated from a supernatural being and not human beings's minds, it might want to instruct Jesus as he actual died, no longer the way artists have imagined that he died?

NDE's are awesome and I totally believe in them. Don't know about visions, though, but I do believe in an afterlife and spirits. Read "Into the Light" Betty Eadie and "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" Mitch Albom.

I''m the real thing, no story here. After a death experience 32 years ago I used to suffer visions real bad for about five years then they slowly went away. Now I only get one every once in a while....

I feel like you do ? And, it to also increases my faith life.It seems to make other happy to put down or hurt someone else's feelings. they may be putting down words, but they are empty. It is a comforting thought to have and if you have a vision of the afterlife it will make your Faith stronger. If people want to laugh at us and make fun, really shows a lack of ant kind of maturity.

Visions from God will clear up with a little Visine and Lithium. I've had near death experience and the person I met on the other side said we had it wrong. The frisbeeterians have it right. When we die our soul goes up on the roof and we can't get it down.

Do you also believe people who claim they were abducted by aliens?
My grandmother used to see "ghosts" all the time. It was, of course, sleep paralysis. Same thing with those who see "visions" from god.
Devora K, sleep paralysis has occured to a large majority of people throughout human history. Doesn't mean ghosts or demons exist. Same applies here.
Yeah, ask for our opinions and then insult us. Well done.

Lessee . . . you're in a place with huge lights in the ceiling, long cavernous hallways, and you have a near-death experience that features bright lights and a long tunnel . . . hmmmm . . . .I think you simply transferred the hospital environment to your dreams.
Or, you have a 'vision' while oxygen-deprived, extremely ill, or feeling despondent and lonely. Reach out to some real people, or get a puppy; It's most likely a lack of B vitamins.

I don't give them much credence even though I have had two relatives who had very strange end of life mental events -- my mother who thought she saw herself looking down at her body in bed the night before she died, the other an uncle who, the night he died, calling and reaching out to my mother some 30 years after her death as he thought he saw her.
It seems to me that the human mind can imagine almost anything and near death experiences seem to simply conjure up memories or wishes that some people have.
